I was trying to take apart my laptop screen to do a thorough cleaning of the screen, now I have all but one of the screws out (the stripped one) any ideas on how to get it out?

....sorry, let me rephrase this....not the screen, the frame around the screen...

The only thing you can do is go out and buy a bit that is made for extracting stripped screws. Though, it will be tough to find one that is small enough to dig out a laptop screw.

Always use the correct size screwdriver, basically the biggest one that will fit.

I would avoid taking the screen apart at all costs. It would only serve to cause you more issues.

Pardon my asking, but why pull apart a laptop?

First, get a fridge magnet, and run it around the area you were working. If you pick it up, disregard the rest of this.

Get an identical screw and take it to your hardware store and see if tehy can get you a matching one (if it's got the weird head, then not likely).

Then, google what you're after.

I hope this has been of some help.
