the movie is about a police (or some other form of law enforcements) raid on a cult compound but something goes wrong and they end up in a fire fight with the cult where some of the cops get seperated and pinned down by the cult and that mostly all i can remember. i know it takes place in the U.S. in farm country ...i'm sorry i can't be more descriptive but if any one knows then u would be laying to rest one of my lifes greatest questions.

If it's not any of the previous answers, it may be the scene from Arlington Road where Jeff Bridges' wife gets killed. She was some kind of government agent and was killed in the woods while trying to arrest someone on weapons charges. A gun fight broke out, several agents and were killed.
