ALWAYS pay back what you owe.....give an honest, full payment back. You might need to borrow again someday.

If I were you I will pay back at once, even he is my dad. Once you started borrowing money and not having a remorse to pay it back, You will be doing that for the rest of your life, borrowing from every body and people will not respect you. Live within your means. Don't let any one trampled your dignity as a human being ,for money.Earn your living, as simple as that...

Haha, I almost always pay the money back because I feel guilty when I owe people money. Except I borrowed about $2000 from my boyfriend, then we turned the bf/gf relationship into something commited and now I don't have to pay him back 'cause we both believe that married or near married people should share money!

Always pay back your debt, no matter how small. You dont want to be remembered for not paying people back. Especially when you may need their help later in life for bigger and better things. So buck up and pay your dad first , then the rest will fall into place.

Each of my 3 children borrowed money and have not paid it back. However they told me they would. The price they pay for not keeping their word is that this bank is now closed to them and they won't get another cent until I get back what they borrowed.

I rarely borrow money but if I do I can't stop thinking about it until I pay it back, unless in the case of maybe your parent might just say forget it, don't pay me back.'But if I loan money to somebody I most likely won;t forget it, I might just not say anything but I don't forget.

What if your dad borrowed money from you, would you want him to forget about it or pay you back?

If you think of yourself as a low life person, well then you could wait until he forgets about it.BUT being that it's your Dad chances are he won't forget, but he won't mention it either. He will hope that they raised you well enough to do the right thing. Pay your Dad back,he deserves at least that much from you.

Yes you should pay it back as this is the right and honest thing to do.... Pay him back half for now and then half next month and see if this works out good for you. Or even 10 dollars a month and then the other five the next...Hope this helps some.

You need to pay him back or anyone else you borrow money from, because you never know when you may need to borrow money from them again.
