I would be honest. If I had (which we all have) I would say this: Of course I have, I think at some time or another we all have a conflict of interest, however the only way I would settle a situation such as this is by talking about it with them or taking it to a supervisor to deal with. I look for a confident and ambitious manager. Someone who isn't afraid to give me constructive criticism in order to improve my skills as an employee. Good luck!
