Alexander Hamilton was the principle champion of the principles of government wherein the states of the union ultimately owed fidelity to one regime overseeing the affairs of the United States. This is known as the federal system. Other politicians had argued for a confederacy wherein the states had a great deal of autonomy (issuing their own currency and making their own policies). Aaron Burr, originally a confidante of Hamilton, became a deadly enemy of Hamilton and killed him in a famous duel which ultimately weakened the federal cause. Burr came to be regarded as an infidel for his royalist ambitions of creating his own kingdom in Louisiana.

In this new school we have a fidelity representitive who works for the federal government. He comes and talks with all our teacher over fidelity, and infidelity, insuring we understand.
