If you are married in the UK but you are in love with another person...and to be fair to yourself and to your spouse you wish to file a divorce, how would one come around to doing so? Is it harder to get a divorce under the UK laws (i.e England or Scotland) than it is under the US laws (i.e state of Fla or New York)? Please help!

I need some legal information too as to how a divorce would go over in the UK. (i.e what must happen in the marriage that will grant a divorce in the courts.) Please help! Thank you!

In Uk, the rules on agreed separation and divorce is two years with mutual consent. If you want divorce earlier, it gets a little messy with one party having to admit to/prove unreasonable behaviour, adultery, desertion

If your spouse agrees with the divorce I can't see that you will have much trouble. If you can also agree on the right property split then all the better. I don't know laws in UK or the USA but I can't imagine there is much difference if both are happy to divorce

First of all you are not in love. You don't know the meaning of love, if you did you would know that love is unselfish. It is quite obvious to me that you are a very selfish person. Remember this love. What goes around always comes around. Peace and God bless.
