I use my cell phone (it vibrates in my pillow). I know several deaf people who use bed shakers (when the alarm goes off it vibrates the whole bed). Others use flashing lights. Website below has pictures and descriptions of the devices available!

I heard sunlight wakes people up naturally better than any alarm clock does. So sleeping near an uncurtained window would be good.

Perhaps they get those alarm clocks that gradually get brighter the closer it gets to a certain time. I really wish I could find one myself - certainly much more pleasant to wake up to than a blaring alarm clock!

there are devices that will vibrate your pillow oe flash a light.
