If ANY man ever knows the answer to that question, he will then be fully qualified to assume command of the winds, the tides, and the rotation of the planets.

First of all, pregnant women are TOTALLY DIFFERENT to deal with. Their horomones are all over the place. Literally they can't control their emotions. It's all due to horomones. So just let the pregnant women be and be sympathetic for them. Their bodies are changing and their brains can't keep up.
Now on with non-pregnant women, I think some women get a rush off of it. They live to be bitchhes. Maybe their fathers didn't love them enough. I was never called a bitchh by my male friends. Just the females. I hung out with guys more because the girls were always gossiping, back stabbing each other and stealing each other's boyfriends and had to constantly check their hair and lipstick. I was more of a tomboy and liked hanging out with the guys and their cars and motorcycles and playing pool. I guess I was just one of the guys, like a sister to some of them. The girls were bitchhes to me because the guys were always calling me to hang out with.
I think some women literally lose control when they go into that 'bitchh' mode. Once they start, their brain releases a chemical that blocks the self-control part nd they can't stop. I don't know, that's just my own psychological evaluation. I am 36 now and I still don't hang out with women. Men are more down to earth and laugh at real things and don't care what others think about them. Women seem to be self-centered.

Well first off take into consideration that she is pregnant, and as much as we look forward to having the baby, and love the thought of being mothers, BEING PREGNANT STINKS! Our b00bs hurt constantly, we have back aches all the time, we crave things we dont even know what the He** they are!!!! And our hormones are so crazy half the time we dont even know what we are feeling!!!!!!!! So how can we convey it to somebody else? When i was pregnant i was horrible. one minute i would be all happy and then the next i was yelling at strangers for things they had no control over, and then the minute after that i would be crying because i felt bad for yelling at the strangers!!!!!! Basically pregnancy=CRAZY! And the rest of the world, mainly the male population, has to learn to be understanding of the fact that we feel just as crazy as we are making you feel!!!
As for not pregnant women even we dont know half the time. Sometimes i will realize that i am being a total bitchh to every one and not know why i am doing it. Then i have to go and appologize for being that way. Also we tend to wear our emotions right out there for everyone to see. So basically if we feel upset about anything or there is something going on that is bothering us we tend to take it out on the rest of the world sometimes.
Thats the best i can offer, i hope it helps, oh and try to be sympathetic towards the pregnant lady. Try to understand that when she is having those mood swings, she probably doesnt even realize it, and she is just as confused about the way she is feeling, as everybody else is about the way she is acting!!!

It's called hormonal fluctuations. They can bring pretty profound changes. Menstrual cycles are like tides and some months it's at RIPTIDE, even tsunami. Pregnancy is also one big hormonal fluctuation.
Sometimes it's like a big wash of mood and all it takes is a guy (or someone else) to act a bit insensitive or jerky to set it crashing out of control. Factor in the pain from cramping and it's surprising we are as nice as we are!
Sometimes I'm not aware I'm being unreasonable but sometimes I'm aware of it but just can't pull out of the mood. Keep in mind that it's often brought on with darn good reason to be upset.
My advise is to learn the warning signs and tip-toe around until it passes. Offer chocolate! Also, don't think the fluctuation is only while we have our periods, it takes a few hormonal rushes during other times to get the cycle turning.
Does this enlighten at all?

Sudden surges in hormone levels can cause irritability. This is common in pregnant women.
If the female is mean spirited all the time it could be that she is a jerk. Some people are. It could also be a cultural or sub-cultural difference. In some groups "mean spritied" behavior is merely a means of blowing off steam. It doesn't mean anything. Other people in the same culture ignore it. It doesn't cause problems unless that person runs into someone from a more "polite" culture. The more polite person usually overreacts because the behavior means something totally different in their culture.
In this case, I think it's pregnancy.

I think most of the time we don't even know what's going through our heads when we're acting that way. I know that if I'm acting like a bitchh, then it's probably not just one thing that's bugging me; it's a combination of a lot of things. Not all women do that on purpose, but sometimes we just have a bad day and take it out on people even though we didn't really mean to. Haven't you ever had a bad day and taken it out on somebody who probably had nothing to do with your situation? And in the case of pregnant women, it kind of goes with the territory, so when men start carrying babies, then you'll really understand.

I honestly don't know. I am a woman and I fail to understand why most of my compatriots feel it neccessary to venture into bit#chyness. But I can tell you that most actually enjoy having this attitude and it is more often than not pre-mediatated.
The question I must ask, however is why are men always attracted by this and then spend all their time complaining about it when there are perfectly good un-hormonal woman out there like myself. I guess I blame female bit@hyness on men. Stop rewarding the behavior!

uhhhm, take it you never had a pregnant wife or girlfriend. I'm not complaining, mind you, as you and I will never have the privilege of being pregnant. If this is a serious question, you just need to cut her some slack. SHE'S PREGNANT! It can't be comfortable a lot of the time. If she is far a long she probably isn't getting enough sleep. Possibly morning sickness/nausea. You need to lay off and be a bit more sensitive. Seriously.

Men have to deal with testosterone only. Women have estrogen and progesterone and both of these hormones fluctuate and having the correct balance of each one is not anything we can control. During pregnancy and menstruation our hormones are so off balance it is like dealing with a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Imagine dealing with a man that is taking steroids for a few days then laying off of them a day or two and never having regulated amounts. He may cry one moment and be ready to rip your head off the next. We as women are expected to deal with this daily and have the capability to "control" our emotions. When we have so little control over what does control our emotions we have an internal battle every day. When we have outside forces, like the day to day problems men deal with, pulling us in every direction, we sometimes get lost in our own web of hormones and the mental stress of trying to control ourselves. Sorry that we are so hard to understand, but aren't we worth it.

Because the woman was pregnant, she had hormones raging in her system. You also need to keep in mind that being pregnant is ever pain free.
But yes, we generally do know when we are being a bitchh. Then, the harder we try to be less bitchhy the more we get angry because we know we aren't gonna cheer up.
Good luck with all the bitchhy woman in your life.

Pregnant women know that they can get away with even more than a PMSing woman just by blaming hormones. So they will pull stuff that nobody else could ever get away with.
I don't think there is ever anything in particular going through a woman's mind. They don't view reality the same way as men, instead preferring to make stuff up as they go along. When the universe doesn't behave exactly as they hoped/wished/expected it, then anyone in the general vicinity is going to cop it.
