Maybe they can't eat it because of the lack of teeth,but maybe they just hold it in their mouths until it softens up enough to gum it up and swallow.

I would actually think it would be.. your would be doing them a service of providing preventative dental care for them..gottta have teeth to eat peanut brittle.
