Any particular reason why?

Well, it will not be Winthrop. Why? Because in the first round they will lose to Notre Dame. Notre Dame is an outstanding offensive team. They have the ability also, since they are from the Big East, to play solid defense. If anyone has the firepower to upset Florida in the Midwest bracket, it is not Arizona, it is Notre Dame. Russell Carter can explode for 40, and probably drain 8 3pointers in the process. Colin Falls is a terrific spot up shooter. The point guard, Tory Jackson, provides a playground toughness most players lack in the NCAA tourney. Inside, Luke Harangody is a banger and will bang with the big boys all night. not only that, but Notre Dame can make free throws in a close game. All these attributes combined lead me to believe that this team has a good chance to win the NCAA Championship.

If one team could be the next George Mason, it would have to be Winthrop Eagles, seeded 11 in the midwest. They have lost only 4 which was to UNC, Maryland, Texas A&M, and an OT lose to Wisconsin. All of the 4 loses were close and on the road. Look for Winthrop who entered AP poll last week to make some teams go home early.

I don't see anyone lower than a 4 having a chance. I know Winthrop is the darling of many but I just don't see it. Oh, and klhelms1, 71-51 loss at Texas A&M is not close. And 11 points against Maryland was closer than the game really was. Maryland was up big before cruising down the stretch. I don't think the slipper fits them at all. No more than one win, if that.

i think that Kentucky will win if Wall performs properly interior the adventure. they have been enjoying super basketball all 12 months and that they'll locate a thank you to win. they only performed Tennessee some days in the past and blew them out seventy 4 to 40 5. in order that we are all conscious Tennessee has overwhelmed different kind one seeds two times this 12 months, yet needless to say that's no longer relating to the overall performance at first of the 12 months, regardless of the undeniable fact that it is the fulfillment in direction of the tip of the 12 months.

As long as you don't say Winthrop I'm fine ... why? Because that is the most unoriginal upset pick ever ... everyone thinks they will be the next George Mason ... me, I like the possibility of VCU over Duke, and possibly Zona over Florida if they can beat Purdue first.

i would say texas or texas a&m. i know basketball is a team game, but durant gives texas a chance to beat anybody on any given day. a&m i think plays pretty decent defense and has the best PG in the nation in law IV. i think PGs are really important in the tourny because they will have the ball most of the time and TOs will really kill a team.

VCU over duke, duke is overrated and VCU is actually the better team in this matchup, but the lower seed, so i guess its still technically an upset

Old Dominion over Butler. It just seems like Old Dominion has a better defense that Butler can't get passed.
