Can you imagine it?! After the awful loss to France and the thrilling victory over England, and the resulting, somewhat hollow Triple Crown win for the second year in succession....

Everyone's asking how Irish People will be celebrating it... A majority of us will be in the pub all day watching the closing games of the Six Nations! (rugby)

ireland has really stepped up its performance in rugby becoming a force to be reckoned with,i think we will take it. hopefully our football team steps up soon aswell because for the last few years we have been a joke,we didn't even qualify for the last world cup and our grouping wasn't even that hard. all round though it looks like st padds day will be a blast.

Since Ireland began competing in international Rugby League in 1995, it has participated in the Emerging Nations Tournament (1995), Superleague World Nines (1996), World Cup (2000), European Nations Cup (since 2003) and Victory Cup (2004). The Ireland A Wolfhounds compete annually in the Amateur Four Nations competition (since 2002) and the St Patrick's Day Challenge (1995-2004). Phil Coles a former Newcastle Knights colt and John Sharpe a rugby union convert are examples of amateur players to have competed in all of these competitions for Ireland. Irish players have also been selected to play for the Great Britain side, one recent example being Cork-born Brian Carney.

because the game is in Italy and Italy have a scrum 1/2 taking section in at 9, Italy should be a lot more beneficial useful than very last week's shambles. eire ought to nevertheless win it in spite of the undeniable fact that it should not be a huge win. i'd say 21-13.
