I had an iPod Video 30gb before, but it got stolen. It's been a few months and I've saved up for a new one, but I'm rethinking iPod, I'm sure there's something better out there.
Here's some info to take into account:

1. I love working out to music. I do mostly weights, but I do occasionally run, so something flash-based or with a hearty hard drive might not be a bad idea.

2. I don't need THAT much space. A few GB will do, I have about 2000 songs, and if I find the right mp3 player, I don't have to have ALL of them in there. If I can squeeze in my favorite 10000ish, I'd be happy.

3. I don't need to watch videos on my mp3 player; I had the iPod video but never watched the videos. It was too much of a battery drain anyway.

4. I need a decent battery life for long trips (I visit my family in Brazil from time to time, and it can be 16++ from the time I leave home to the time I get to my grandma's house.

5. I have Windows XP SP2.

6. I'd like it to be easy to upload songs to.

Thanks!

Try an ipod nano. You can buy one on ebay for alot less than the retail price. It would be great for you because you work out alot, and need something portable. Try for the larger model though, 4-8 GB or all your songs might not fit!

CD gamers i'm no longer waiting for an ipod or mp3 participant yet... possibly whilst i'm 40 in the event that they are no longer old via then (i'm 29). I certainly have had my digital camera for 3 years and there continues to be probably a gaggle of stuff i don't be attentive to the thank you to do with it yet. Texting, making telephone calls, and capturing is exceedingly plenty all i will do with my cellular telephone. i do no longer choose to circulate by using all the complication of downloading songs just to hearken to them each time everywhere without the skipping or scratching.
