Young people, do you wish your parents would take more active interests in your life? If not, why? if so, why?

some times i feel as though they have too much interest but not in the right way. they tell me they care about me and stuff. but they never look at my situation fully. sometimes i think its way better if they didnt know certain things. because with parents its only a one way street, which is their street. plus wheneva i get in a situation they only fucus on the bad stuff. like the worst possible thought they can come up with. and they dont realize the world is changing each and everyday. life when they were young wasnt the same as when were young right now. there are differences good and bad.
