It does take two to stay a couple - so it's good that you are wondering about this. Hopefully he wonders about you too!
I think the answer is - you ask him.
Are you sure you can handle it if he says "No"?
Start your conversation by saying you noticed this and you felt that and were wondering if he were just OK or really happy.
"Really happy" takes a lot work you know - maybe he's OK with just being OK.
Pick your time to have this conversation - do it on your time not his. What I mean is, don't do it while basketball game is on - do it at a time when a chick movie or show is about to start.
Best wishes.

You don't, and you can't ask or you look too needy! I feel ya, I ask myself the same question...
So, what I can do is look at his non-verbal actions, like...when he is mad he only makes his side of the bed! Or, when he is happy he will start my car in the morning. See, what I am trying to say is that men (or mine at least) don't say things like "geez babe, I am really happy with our relationship and I want to know how to make it better". It just don't happen like that. They do things like make you a book shelf, or fix the toilet...ya know what I'm saying? The most important thing though if for me to be happy, generally if I am okay with the way our marrage is, he is too...not always but most of the time. Communication before insecurity always is the key. Good luck.

Sometimes, letting go seems like the easiest thing to do. But think about this: you've invested so much of your time and energy into another person; you've made a solemn promise; and you still know there's love, even if it's hiding underneath the surface. This website will show you how to save a marriage and avoid divorce, even if you're the only one trying https://tr.im/Dl94N

Sit down with him and ask him if he is happy or not... I am sure he will answer this question and tell you... Are you happy in the marriage?

When are men ever happy in a marriage that's a better question....lol..........
Another question you can ask yourself is are you happy in the marriage!
Communication is very important so you should ask him, sit him down and talk .I myself don't know weather my hubby is happy but I would assume so
because he keeps coming home.lol.......

Does he generally seem happy at home? Is he angry and grouchy?
The answer to that should tell you if he's happily married or not.
