Question for black women only?

Its no secret that black women are the least likely women to date outside their race. My question is whether its because non-black men don't want to date black women or Black women dont date non-black men? Which do you think is the case?

i think that people date who they want to date. i have dated both black men and non-black men.

For a long time I wouldnt date outside my race because of the stigmatism that comes along with it. Our parents dont approve of it. However, there could be some cases where either of what you said is the case. But black women not dating out side our race is changing because people are more open to it now.

I think black women prefer to not date white men in particular. Don't get me wrong I'm sure some black women somewhere do date outside there race. But you really put up with alot of crap attempting to do so. I dated a puerto rican guy and got crap for that,so I don't even want to imagine if he had been white.

Um I guess it's a secret to me because I've never heard that we're the least likely to date outside our race. All guys I've liked/dated have been outside my race and my fiance is white/asian. I have seen plenty of interracial couples with a black girl and a guy of another race so I really don't know where you got that from. To answer the actual question, I think there are a variety of reasons why anyone wouldn't date outside their race. They might be raised to not do so, they might not be attracted to other races, and other random reasons.

All women need security, love, respect, tenderness, attraction, care takers, ect.

It's a values thing. The women are taught that you stay with your race. Only your race can fully understand each other therefore it will be a more succesfull match in the long run.
It is easier even in this day and age to be in a non interracial relationship and to have kids that are of one race not 2.Less stress, hassle, no "looks", no racist issues, ect.

I know this because Spanish girls are taught the same thing as are Italians as are Jamaican as are German..Get the drift?

Well...it has to do with many factors...

Including the fact that stereotypes of black women put them on the most masculine side...compared to Asian women the most feminine. Most guys are obviously socialized to like passive women, etc.

Also, black women are not known for being the most attractive...etc...

Probably both, but then again - people in unwanted or undesirable situations tend to make themselves believe that it's their doing so they don't feel so inadequate.
