Yes!!

Miami is what you make of it...you can chooose to do rowdy things or not. I think Miami is the perfect place to go for a 28yo single girl. I used to go there in my 20s, now in my late 30s, married with kids, and can still find great things there. I am talking about the "south beach" area not North Miami or the inner city.

Why you should go:

1. The beach and ocean: its gorgeous. Beautiful water, sandbar not too far out, makes it idealic. great loungechairs, great to hang with the girlfriends.

2. Art galleries/art scene: wonderful art galleries to walk around and see!

3. Ocean Drive: at night or even during the day, OD is THE cool place to go..walk around...sit at an outdoor cafe.

4. Espanola Way: This is SUCH a neat street, cars are blocked off. It translates to "spanish street." hard to describe, but a must see/do. Its so pretty.

5. GREAT restaurants: I always like to go to high quality restaurants with my friends...you will find the BEST here, akin to NYC quality. Every kind of cuisine, and a lot of Spanish, Meditteranean, Tapas, Pan-asian.

6. GREAT nightlife but NOT cheesy: there are some great clubs with a awesome crowd...you will have to ask around as to which are the "IN" clubs.

It does not get rowdy in the streets like New orleans, its nothing like that. The main scene is on Ocean Drive, some on Collins and Washington...lots of outdoor cafes/bars and clubs but the rowdiness is inside the clubs. there is a changeover like most places- after 11pmish its more of a singles/clubby scene. But before that its not too bad, in fact we were out on ocean drive with our kids and saw quite a few strollers go by (this was early still, 7pm-ish).

also, if you want to expand beyond south beach, there is a lot to do besides: Key biscayne, airboat everglades tours.

NO! My teen is only too youthful to circulate off on an unmonitored spring smash holiday. those are for college age childrens, no longer intense schoolers. ETA: 18-19? properly, they are adults... technically. i think of it would rely first on who's finding out to purchase the spring smash holiday. If a 19 3 hundred and sixty 5 days old works during the college 3 hundred and sixty 5 days to maintain up money to take the holiday, i can not see how a determine ought to declare no. If it is your money, then you certainly're thoroughly interior of your rights to say no. I only bear in concepts the golden rule: If it is your gold, then you certainly're making the regulations!
