Is there any place on the Internet where I can read "To Kill A Mockingbird" or "Of Mice and Men" online. I've checked my library and they don't have it. I've always wanted to read these two books. Is there anyplace to read them online.

nbsandiego: Thank you very much. I was not aware of this. And I think I will talk to the library about getting them.

Both these books are still under copyright, so unless the owner gives permission, there is no place to LEGALLY read these books online. Perhaps somebody somewhere posted the text online, but it's probably a pirate operation.

However, both these books are regarded as classics and must-reads. So your library can probably get copies in on inter-library loan (ILL). In fact, if your library participates in any kind of ILL program, you can get pretty much any book you want that way. I'll warn you, though, ILL books tend to have very short loan periods and are due back very quickly, so don't check them out until you are ready to read them, and don't try to check out any other books at the same time.
