The best hormone treatment is the one prescribed by your doctor. If you really want it talk to a gender therapist for 3 months and they will send you to a doctor to do blood tests and make sure that you don't die. Hormones are very dangerous things and if the dosage is too big then the extra estrogen will convert to testosterone, too low and won't do anything. It is also much cheaper to get the hormones via a doctor.

Personally, I'd ask my doctor. Just to be sure that you aren't accidentally taking lethal doses of a lethal drug (yipes!) which you don't need.
Doctors know best! They went through all those grueling years of medical school, so I'm positive they could recommend (and prescribe) hormone treatment for you!
Best of luck!

Yeah, as I'm sure you know some transsexuals get their hormones illegally. Please don't do it! I know I sound like a nagging mother, but it's for your own health. Hey, when I first started my transition I was tempted to go 'black market', but in the end I realized that only the doctor can set up a proper regimen.
And trust me, the hormones do what they're supposed to >:)

M2F usually start with an anti androgen (something that will slow down the testosterone in the system) then eventually go on estrogen.

see a doctor about this one, k? Don't even try self-medication based on the advice of others. why? cancer, loss of sexual function, conversion to testosterone thus defeating the purpose of taking it in the first place, etc.
