My mother, me and my fiance stay in a two bedroom trailer. I keep telling her we need to get a more suitable home because she is trying to adopt her 2 grandkids. One is a girl 11 years old and the other a boy 5 years old.
I thought that the girl has to have her own room and such?

Im not an expert, although I believe your correct a boy and a girl should have seperate bedrooms, And in the adoption process they will come out to inspect the house and if the living arrangements are not suitable they will deny her custody until such a time when she can provide them with a suitable location in which to live. By all rights, in this situation you should have a 4 bedroom home. Good Luck.

Youre right. The living quarters must provide a seperate bedroom for every boy and girl over 12 yrs old. Boys can room together but the girl must have her own bedroom and parents must have their own too. So the least here would have to be a 3 bedroom trailer or whatever.

Usually when you adopt or foster children, they each need a room of their own.

Good luck you.
