To cut down on cost, we stay together in vacation rental homes instead of hotel rooms. I went in February with my husband and 8 other adults and 5 kids and stayed at http://www.earlofpinewood.com -- the price was cheaper than 1 Disney hotel room for the week! Because it has a full kitchen and grill, you can cook out and eat by the private pool before going into the parks or make sandwiches at home and take them and drinks into the park and save a lot of money that way.
It has 5 bedrooms as well as a pull-out couch and 3.5 bathrooms too. It is in Davenport (where Disney is) about 6 miles from Disney so getting there is really quick. It is newly remodeled and is really clean (and decorated in Disney theme) in a quiet neighborhood and has a private swimming pool and hot tub. The prices are not listed on the website, but I contacted Earl via the Contact link on the website and the prices in February were extremely reasonable. We'll definitely stay there from now on each time we go.

We have found food to be our biggest expense during our many trips to Disney World. We have started packing an extra bag with snacks, often including a loaf of bread (put it in a container) and peanut butter and jelly. Disney does offer a meal plan you may want to check into.
The Disney Cruise is a phenomenal trip, but it isn't cheap! There is plenty to do on the ship, and when it is in port, many people leave to do shore excursions. On our last trip, we stayed on the ship and used the pool. This saved us money, and we had a wonderful time. All of your food is included, with the exception of alcoholic beverages. This includes room service - gratuity isn't included, but everything else is. Keep good track of what you are buying/doing, so there are no major surprises at the end when it is time to settle your bill. The food is fabulous, as is the service.

One thing you could do is book your hotel and flight together. You could save 15% or more than booking separetly. Many of the airlines have vacation brands and you can usually find good rates as they set aside seats for these packages. United Airlines Vacations services most cities. Regionally, check out Spirit Airlines Vacations or Funjet which has contracts with most major airlines.
Check out Hobbit Travel for cruise vacations.
We always like staying at a Disney World onsite property but rooms are generally cheape roffsite. There are benefits to staying onsite though. You get access to the extended park hours, free shuttles from your hotel and free transportation to/from Orlando airport.

This cruise is nice for each age! I enjoyed it while i replaced into 10 and that i like it now! lol. My mothers and fathers did too! besides the actuality that I do love my Disney international fix! =)

You'll save lots of money on food, if you lodge in a room with microwave and buy meals in supermarkets. Alimentation is expensive in restaurants. If you are staying for many days, visit the websites of each park and see the offers. Your hotel will provide free transportation but not for all parks. For instance, if you stau in the Disney area, the buses won't take you to Universal or Islandas of Adventure, either Sea World. Not to mention Busch Gardens, in Tampa.
Try www.disney.com and www.universalstudios.com to check the opportunities.
