If my friend wants to get me hooked up with this guy and i kinda like him but he used to go out with this chick no one liked and i dont want to go out with him cause i dont wanna get made fun of......is that wierd, but she thinks that me and him would make a cute couple what should i do?

Live the rest of your life worrying about what everyone else thinks and do everything just to please those around you. That way you will be cool, everyone will like you, and you will never be regarded as disagreeable.
On the other hand, you could strive to be an individual and not make decisions based on what your friends do. You might find that you are happier living your life for yourself rather than for others. Who knows, your friends might respect you for it and you might even develop leadership potential.
It's your choice...as long as you don't let your friends make it for you.

It doesn't really matter what your friend thinks. Do you want to get to know this person better? So what if he went out with some other girl? That was then. People change. Maybe he discovered he didn't like her so much either. I'd decide for myself which way I wanted to go here. Sure, your friends opinions matter, but not that much when it comes to your dating preferences. Think for yourself.

You should treat him like any other human being and he deserves the right to have friends. So don't bother about what people think but how you see it is what matters.

no it not weird because sometime who you date in the past can tell a lot about you but don't get me wrong it not a reason to not date someone so see if you and him have things in common and then go from there.

If you think he is cool and attractive go out with him and see how things are with the two of u, if they dont work out, just move on.who care about those other folks

who care who you like if people judge you then they don't like you in the long run you don't want to be around those people do you i dont think so that if you like him then go out with him you cant help who you like you just like them don't ever care what people think all it does in the long run is hurt you no one want to get hurt

who's your boss, you or your friend. If your friend tells you to do this and you don't wanna do it, then do. Your friend might just be jealous.
Do what you think is comfortable, and you sound very sensitive so i suggest you not to do it.
