Good rule . I think we need more diversification and less monopolys in radio and TV. I also do not want the Satellite radio merger- I hate monopolies it hurts the consumer big time.

You are incorrect to both statements.

The FCC (and federal law) prohibits foreign ownership of domestic broadcast TV or radio, or broadband service providers. This is a carry-over from the middle of last century, when they were paranoid about foreign powers trying to control what we watch and hear.

Those limitations don't apply to satellite communications, for obvious reasons.

And BBC America is affiliated with the BBC. They are just not owned by the BBC.
