TREVOR LINDEN, Vancouver
Nearing the end of the line in a long and battle-hardened career that began in the 1980s, Linden led his team to Game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals and was once the NHL's ironman for consecutive games played.
Not only does he play hard, put the team first, and do more for the community and charities than ANY player in NHL history, he also had the added duties of being the president of the player's union during the roughest and most challenging days in the history of professional hockey.
A class act, 2nd overall draft pick, multiple All-star appearances, many 30 goal seasons, I remember a game with six points (for which Sidney Crosby got a great deal of international coverage this year), and better in the playoffs than the regular season. He has coped with age and stayed relevant in the NHL by becoming an excellent defensive player and penalty killer.
But there's no arguing that Stall, Crosby and Malkin are going to achieve great things!

Sidney Crosby and Eric Staal are my two favorite.
Although Alexander Ovechkin, Anze Kopitar, Ryan Getzlaf, Martin St. Louis, Vincent Lacavieler, Jordan Stall, and last but not least Evegini Malkin are make strong cases

I've been a Pens' fan since Day 1, so we'll exclude Sid, Malkin, Staal, Mario, Jagr, etc, or it would be a no brainer...even thought they torture the Pens constantly, I really enjoy watching Martin St. Louis and Vinny Lecavalier.

My favourite player is Daniel Sedin and he is very underrated 68 pts 30 goals and my best line is Daniel Sedin, Henrik Sedin, and Jan Bulis. Those twins can play very well together passing along the boards and basically passing around people to put it in the net. If they had a great scorer on the line (Last year was Anson Carter and he sucks) they would be a very very productive line.

SEAN AVERY. I love this guy, yeah I know everybody hates him, I guess you start to like him when hes on your team. He pisses everybody off draw penalties, and he can get something going on offense. He plays with so much intensity and isn't afraid to get roughed up. Some people call him the last of the Old Time Hockey players, I can agree with that. You wanna ask who is the most rounded player, you can make an arguement for Avery because of his physical play, even if he isnt the best offensively, hes not just a goon who goes out to fight people.
I liked Avery when he was in LA also, its really his intensity.
I also like Petr Prucha, Jussi Jokinen, Jonathan Cheechoo and Branko Radivojevic (great name).

Terrible! His team has been losing, had a huge fight with his wife last night and she maybe be leaving him for Ellen Degenres. Fell off the wagon and got into a fight with Chuck Liddell at a tavern two nights ago. Man he is going down the sheeter real fast. I heard he may get sent to the "A" because his game is slacking.

I think you mean Who not How is your favourite NHL forward? My favourite NHL forward is...Martin St. Louis. He goes almost unnoticed while putting up MVP-calibre numbers. Score one for the little guys! Plus, he's one of the speediest players in the NHL.
