Definitely Phantom of the Opera by Leroux. It's a dark tragic romance, about a genius who loves a woman who is in love with another man, and the depths he will go to to obtain her love. I just love that book! I've read it I don't even know how many times. And I'll most likely read it again, too.

A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith. I've read it over and over since I was pretty young--10 or 11 like the main character in the book is at the beginning. I'm 40 now and just re-read it again this year. It's a great story and I notice new things each time I read it.

"Kiss Kiss" by Roald Dahl
Classic twisted tales from Roald Dahl, which explore desire, deceit and the macabre with shocking results.
In 'Mrs Bixby and the Colonel's Coat', a spurned woman tries on the glossy mink coat her lover has given her as a parting gift. 'Landlady' tells the story of the sinister hotel where the guests check in and never leave; in 'William and Mary' a wronged wife takes the ultimate revenge on the deceased husband she cannot escape; 'Georgy Porgy' is the strange vicar with a disturbing fear of women; and 'Pig' shows how eating meat can be fatal ...
"Tales of Mystery & Imagination" by Edgar Allan Poe
Locked doors, bricked-up alcoves and premature burial close in on Poe's narrators as they, like their victims, are cut off from light, air and human society. The "disordered chambers" of the author's mind resonate with archetypal, if extreme, psychological states; these 46 tales also present the incurable hoaxer and teller of excessively tall tales, a master of this difficult genre.

My favorite book that I have ever read is The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton.
"Nature's first green is gold
Her hardest hue to hold
Her early leaf's a flower
But only so an hour
Then leaf subsides to leaf
So Eden sank to grief
So dawn goes down to day
Nothing gold can stay"

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. I love the passion Bella has for Edward and how they are so deeply in love. I love the way Stephenie Meyer words her sentences. I love how I can just see out of Bella's eyes. Imagine everything she is thinking. Stephenie Meyer inspired me to write. J.K Rowling too......Twilight by Stephenie Meyer is my favorite book. I have read it many times..and the first time I read it I read it all in one day. I couldn't put it down! And then the next day I read the sequel. They are long..but the best books I have ever read!
