No, when I lived in California there was like a ton of women for every man. I never saw a single man. I don't know who started that story. But if you go to the North East, like Michigan there was a lot of single men. Or North Dakota.
Women are like scarce and the men are like men rough and tough and yet gentle.
In California you have to kill someone to get a date.

If your looking for a relationship, I think it's unfair and wrong that you only look in Maine.
In a way, I think that's like only looking for a guy who is a certain race.
There are bad people and good people everywhere.
There are great men and bad men everywhere.
Don't stick to Maine, although if you feel it's what you must do, then go for it.
But I'd stay in California. You never know.
Have you seen the movie Step Up? That's just an example of something that happens all the time, for the better, and unfortunately not many people realize it:
"Sometimes bad things have to happen in order for something even better to happen."

Well, California is much more massive and diverse than Maine is. Think about it. LA, Berkeley, and San Francisco are all world-reknowned areas. On the other hand- what's in Maine? Anything? Lol- no offense to those mates, but I'm from MA, so it's like, New England is sleepy. I would suggest staying where you are if you want a better chance at meeting males.
(Little bit of advice: All of us males are focused on sex and we're arrogant pigs who don't actually care about anything other than the aforementioned activity. We're shallow, selfish, and self centered. In other words, we're a perfect compliment to females. Just remember that relationships are stupid.)
