I moved to where i live now a little over a year ago. Since then I have made alot of friends. Espically this one girl that i see all the time and me and her are like scooby doo and shaggy, we have so much fun together. She also just moved to a different middle school and she hates it there and she tells me that i am really her only best friend and real friend she has. And i found out today i moving back to florida (i live in georgia right now) so i will have to spend the rest of high school in florida. We will be moving in the summer and i dont know how tommorow i am going to look any of my friends in the eye without crying. And i cant tell any of them yet. So what should I do?

Just tell them that you're moving. If u feel like your gonna cry and can't help it, just let it go. They'll understand. By means of crying they will understand that you didnt ask for this thing to happen and that you must go. How much it would hurt them saying you go and cry like that, theyre gonna comfort you and tell you that it will be alright. Tell them u'll keep in touch and keep updated. Tell them " Hey it's no like im going to die. Im only moving to Florida and it's just a phone call away."

I'm sorry, my best friend moved this last summer, it was very sad, but I guess what you should do is keep in touch with them through email, phone, whatever. It really helps me every time I talk to my friend, it's a load off. If they're really true, great friends, the friendship should last even if it's long distance. I'm going to visit my friend this summer, it's gonna rock! Maybe if your friends go to florida on vacation they can see you? Hey at least you make friends easily. Say goodbye and give them a big hug! You have to tell them sometime, tell them now so you can make the most out of every second you have left with them!

I'm so sorry to hear that you'll be leaving your friends. I think you guys should get together over your house (or one of theirs), and you just be honest with them and tell them that you're going to move. I know there will be plenty of tears, but you will have each other to cry on. You can still keep in touch through phone calls, email, letters, and instant messaging over the Internet. When you see your friends at school, try to think about all of the good times that you and your friends still have left before you leave. That should cheer you up! It is really tough... I have been the new kid many times and I've had to leave some really good friends, but visiting them when you are able to, writing, and calling all help ease the situation.
Your friends need to know about this it might be hard for them to grasp at first but it would be worse if you told them right before you left. Basically you should just try to have the most fun possible with them while you are there and then keep in contact with them.
And trust me I know it sucks :(

I don't think you'll be alone while crying since they'll crying right along side you when you tell them! You sound like great friends but you'll stay in touch and she'll have a place to visit when she comes to see you in Florida!!

Awww, i'm sorry highschools confusing i be attentive to! i be attentive to the way you experience, yet u have a extensive benefit over me for the reason which you're a woman! only initiate chatting with all the lads on your type, they are going to all choose to speak to you have confidence me! Them circulate directly to ladies after that. And only be optimistic to be your self. whenever you choose to do something, do exactly it! Friends should laugh together, cry together, and fight with each other (not to the point where one is turning blue, mind you..) and your friends will miss you, but they'll feel better if you tell them first. Imagine if one biked up to your house and saw the FOR SALE sign- she/he would be devasted!

I KNOW ITS HARD I HAD TO CHANGE SCHOOLS 3 TIMESD IN HIGH SCHOOL ALONE! THE BEST THING IS TO JUST TELL THEM ! LET THEM KNOW SO THEY TOO CAN BE READY . AND SO YOU WILL HAVE SOMEONE TO TALK TO ABOUT IT
