I'm going to be doing 3, 3 week research projects over the summer. I need 3 good ideas but definitally more are accepted. I'm pretty much open to researching anything because my goal is to learn some new stuff and/or get more in depth with stuff I have already learned. I would like the research project to be good for a 9th grader to work on!

In the past I have done research papers on : whether school uniforms should be used in schools, if money leads to happiness, genetically modified foods (sounds hard but it is really interesting!), and solar energy. Some other topics I can think of is global warming, how music affects youth, if celebs/athletes are role models, obesity, and autism.

I'd say that you should do one about Captain James Cook, he was a really interesting guy. Another you could do about the American Revolution, and maybe the next about the Tudor Dynasty (They included Bloody Mary, Elizabeth 1st, and Henry VII who had 6 wives).
