depend son what u want to do with it, if you're happy to just be in a band then do drums, good drummers are VERY hard to find and you'll be in demand, if you're a singer/aspiring songwriter you'd probably find more satisfaction learning the guitar

The drums are not easier then guitar. To be a good drummer you have to keep several things going at the same time, usually at different beats but keep steady time. It also requires a lot of dedication because you need to devote space and time when you won't disturb anyone else. It's not like a guitar which you can play an acoustic or put the volume really low and keep in a corner. The price difference is not much though because when you add it up in the long run a gutarist will also need an amp and maybe pedals so it evens out.
On the up side if you can be a good drummer you will never have trouble finding a band. Drummer are in high demand, especially in cities where space is even more limited and the likelyhood of being seen is higher.
If you can devote the space and time to drums go for it, if it's not available to you go for the guitar. If you play guitar you never really have to depend on anyone else because you can play for yourself.

I personally started with the guitar. After a few years, I realized that bands were looking for more drummers then they were guitarists.

If you want to learn an instrument so that you can play with other people in front of other people, then I suggest the drums. If you want to learn an instrument so that you can create your own songs (or meledies) than I suggest the guitar.

Besides, girl drummers are much better ;)

Mate, it all depends on you! If you're the type of person who likes to be in the spotlight, and show off, take the guitar. If you prefer to stay in the background while still getting a bit of the spotlight, and if you like beating on things, take the drums.

We can't answer this for you, I suggest trying both out for a little while to see which you like better. They're both fun, and neither is that difficult to pick up as long as you practice. Don't expect to be world-class right away though, it takes years to become a really good drummer or guitarist.

both. if u can.

guitar would take probly longer cuz for beginners
you start with acoustic then move on to bass or electric or somthin like that.

drums would take a LOT of practice.

trust me on this.

I suggest that you start w/ the guitar & in that way you would learn notes moreso than just tablatures etc.
