The U.S. Government is bought and paid by corporate criminals who control the populace (litle people). The voting process is a fraud, as the U.S. is run and controlled by attorneys. The U.S. is fast becomming a third world country, and is already over-populated, too damn many people, and our infrastructure is crumbling and obsolete. Our military is falling apart with insufficient staffing. The U.S. is almost totally dependent upon foreign imports, and has the largest foreign trade deficit in history. The U.S. has lost its industrial base. Foreign nationals (such as s.o.b.'s from India) are coming here by the thousands, working for less, and displacing the native born legal citizens that have worked hard for their place in the U.S. employment. Sadly, all countries and governments come and go, and the U.S.A. is no exception. We are definitely in the last days of the U.S.A.

Is Halliburton justified in relocating? Just look at the ridiculous accusations and hate in this post towards them. Liberals despise Halliburton! Why aren’t they happy that Halliburton is leaving?

Liberal congressmen and senators and the mainstream media have ‘bashed’ this fine and profitable company and made every kind of false accusation without offering any evidence of wrong doing (except that V.P. Cheney was formerly associated with it). They have hated this company since Cheney has been V.P. Now that they have chased Halliburton away, they are complaining about it. Ridiculous!

If I were a big corporation and faced that kind of hostility from the politicians and media in my home country, you’d better believe that I would ‘high tail’ it out of the U.S. as well, if for no other reason than the sake of its shareholders.

Halliburton’s main product is ‘energy services’. The liberal environmentalists won’t allow any new oil drilling (in the Gulf or in Alaska) so why should they stay in the U.S.? Unless they changed their main service to selling “compact fluorescent” light bulbs or some other "pc" sector that would make the Libs happy, I really don’t know what else they can be expected to do. Perhaps they should get into selling “carbon offsets” such as Algore’s companies do or some other worthless scams. That would surely please the Libs.

This is just the beginning of what's going to happen when the Libs take over in 2008. We are going to see a mass exodus of corporations that don’t want their businesses ruined by over regulation and have their profits confiscated (e.g. Hillary Clinton's promise to confiscate oil company profits).

The U.S. used to attract companies such as Halliburton with low tax incentives and minimal regulations. Now, we are chasing them overseas and complaining about it as they go! The liberals think that they can have it both ways. Unfortunately, they can’t.

F.Y.I. The biggest shareholder of this Texas Company is “Lady Bird” Johnson, wife of former democratic U.S. president, LBJ.

Mexicans coming here have nothing at all to do with Halliburton’s leaving. Illegals are coming to take advantage of all of the free “entitlements” and social programs. Liberal organizations, such as the ACLU, are fighting any local government entity that attempts to deny services to illegals. Why don’t the liberals ever complain about the ACLU?

If you started a company that was in the Rice Services business, would it make sense to start it in Great Britain, or South East Asia, where the rice is.

Or if you started a company that was in the Super Sports Car Services business, like an expensive Super Clutch manufacturer, would you start it in Argentina, or Italy, where the Super Sports Cars are built.

So...
If you are in the Oil Services Business, and you provided services to comanys that own and drill oil, where should you base your company???

By the way, whats wrong with Mexicans?

Oh, and one more thing. Did Halliburton try and be a profitable US company? Shame on them!

I have a better idea. Let's make a list of the top grossing US companies and put them under direct government control. In other words, Microsoft, Walmart, Oracle, etc... listen up! You guys have done so well, we are going to take your company from you and tell you whats what!

Another great job done by liberals.
Made it so hard for them they left a long with the jobs.

Wondering why companies leave the US because of all the regulations the liberals keep piling on them.

Small businesses get killed with the paperwork.

We all own part of Halliburton pulling out.

You pretty much figured it out already. The rich American companies just care about MONEY. NOT the American people. And, don't look to Bush or the repukes to help, they are just helping themselves too.

Good thing that they get all the tax breaks and the money so they can keep it to themselves.

How about the gov't stops spending all the money on wars & cheap labor overseas, and starts funding all those programs those "celebreties" ask questions about on here.

I don't blame them for leaving. With all the liberals bitching and moaning about them when they have no idea what they are talking about. Haliburton is the only company in the world with the resources to accomplish as much as they have in Iraq. Nobody complained when Clinton paid them $20 billion to do it in Kosovo and Serbia.

well the people in charge to figure this all out are the ones making out with all the cash..............And Haliburton is working for the CIA so I think there's a reason besides taxes they will be overseas.
