Hi my name is Kelly,

I am working on a research paper about the psychology of serial killers. I was looking for a Licensed psychologist to interview for my paper.

E-mail me with information if you can, and if you have any friends who are psychologist please contact them, and try to help me out.

Thank you so very much!

I've just completed a 3-year Psychology degree, and I'm interested in following a career in Forensic Psychology. I did a paper in my final year on Serial Killers and I have to say, from experience; I doubt you'll find much help on the study of serial killers from any specific Psychologist, as the term 'serial killer' covers many kinds of people; Psychopathic people, people with (Paranoid) Schizophrenia, people suffering from drug-induced Psychoses, etc., so I think if you come to a dead-end, the best people to talk to about this would be:

Clinical Psychologists,
Forensic Psychologists,
Forensic Scientists,
Police/Detectives,

It's highly probable the information you'll get from them may be too general for what you're looking for. The best academic information I think you'll find is in Academic Journals - just pop along to your nearest university and hop into their library and look for Journals dealing with Mental Illnesses and Crime.

Wish you all the best.

Kelly - I doubt very much that a licensed psychologist would 'work' online w/o a fee for his services. If you receive a response from someone saying that they're a psychologist, doubt it. Perhaps you should make an appt with one. You will have to pay for your hour, of course, but psychologists aren't in the business of giving away their time.
