DHTML is not a process, it simply describes a few technologies used in conjunction to create specific functionality. Namely, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; which are all used to create simple interactivity on a page. The user engages, the page responds. Swap out elements, change styles, etc. Hence the "dynamic" in "dynamic HTML"
