I want to grow out my hair like Cody Lineys (Hoot Star) BUt my mom is all agenst it. How can I convince her? Thanks

You could put together a presentation. Even if she doesn't agree with you she will have to appreciate the effort.
You'll have to think of points why you should have long hair.
One of them being you are a growing boy/man and you have the right to choose your own style as long as it isn't crazy. You could even have pictures of crazy hairstyles.
Present the points to her with photos etc... in a professional way. You could even print out an internet article or two on how creativity helps raise grades.
Let her know that since you want to make your own decisions like an adult you are willing to accept a couple more adult responsibilities around the house. That way she wins in this.
This will most assuredly get her attention.

Well I don't know who Cody Lineys is but if your hair is clean and well-groomed, I wouldn't have a problem. Promise your mom it will always be kept clean. Keep being a good kid. Parents are more likely to go along with something like this if you're behaving well.

Tell her that it's your life and that you can do what you want with it as long as it's not stupid, and to not let you do what you want is bad for you.... Hope I helped.
