Although Natural Family Planning is nothing "new," due to more accurate research, it has been vastly improved over the years. You may look into the book "Taking Charge of your Fertility," as it goes into detail about how to chart and accurately predict your cycles in order to achieve or avoid pregnancy.
Some people also call it the Fertility Awareness Method, so you may have some luck looking it up under that name. They are slightly different, but the basic principles are the same.

Im really not sure if there are any new methods, Just having sex....you can go get one of those ovulation tests from any drug store or pharmacy and it will tell when you are ovulating, Remember after having sex....dont get up right away just lie there with your partner and enjoy the moment...cause after you do conceive those days are over...LOL.....Good Luck to you
