okay some of you may have read my question "should i back off?" a couple weeks ago, well heres an update... the divorce is final and we are engaged, we are madly in love and making wedding plans but his ex-wife isn't exactly over him. she has been calling him nonstop and trying to get back together with him. she has even gone as far as to tell him lies such as me cheating on him and my just wanting to marry him for his money.(what money?) i really want this to end so we can move on but she won't quit. she flew in from new york and showded up at our doorstep just so she could try to get back with him. i don't think i can should call the police because she hasn't really done anything illegal. has she? i want to know how i can get her to stop. please help

ps: when should the wedding be summer or autum... i don't know which is better

She could be charged with harassment or even stalking as she has physically shown up on your doorstep. You can get protective restraining order against her if you feel one is necessary. This happens alot especially when one party doesnt want the divorce. You can also sue her for defamation of character/slander if she continues on making false accusations against you. You dont have to put up with this at all and if you dont stop her now, chances are itll only get worse from here on. Good luck

You want an honest opinion......the last thing I would be doing was planning a wedding for any time this year. You can't stop her behaviour and apparently her ex is enjoying the attention if he hasn't said something to her. I wouldn't want to be you, you are the rebound girl.......or you were the mistress either way, I wouldn't be planning a wedding.

Don't get married until this man puts her in her place and tells her not to harass you anymore or show up like that. You can't call the police for that unless she is threatening you or physically caused harm.

This is not a healthy relationship. The ex should set boundaries with her and stick with it. Otherwise she will make both of your lives miserable. Good luck!

Harassment is illegal so go for it call the cops! Both are wonderful as long as you are marrying the perfect person for you!
