...when people type "LOL" at the beginging of every sentence, even if there is nothing remotely funny about what they're saying?

It doesnt drive me, but i don't believe it. It should be SALSIDLLAFWSAMCA. (Stifiling a laugh so i don't look like a fool while sitting at my computer alone). That could be interesting > LOL.

I suppose people like to laugh at themselves. Sometimes it's arrogance, sometimes it's a clue that what they're saying is supposed to be funny, sometimes they're trying too hard to make you laugh. I use it sparingly, I often find it ridiculous. But you know, whatever floats their boat.

Totally agree! It can be really annoying at times. LOL can be overabused at times.

My dog died. LOL. Then I fell down six flights of stairs. LOL. I landed on a cripple boy and killed him. LOL.
