I haven't had a period since Dec. 25th, when I went off birth control. My doctor gave me progesterone to induce a period. Then had me go in on day three of my cycle to get blood tests. I've waited for over a week and still have not heard.
Has anyone had tests like these done before? And issues like me? What as the outcome? Treatments?
-So far no home pregnancy tests have come out positive. I used generic...would that make a difference?

they are checking hormone levels, like FSH, LH thyroid, prolactin, testosterone etc. to see what might have caused the delay in your period. this will help them determine what needs to be done for you to conceive.
a generic shld not make much a difference and I wld imagine they did a pregnancy test in the docs office. the results for the pregnancy test shld be back the next day. the hormone test will take longer, up to 2 weeks.

Just call the doctor's office for your lab results. Normally if you don't get a call then the tests did not indicate a need for follow up by the doctor as results were in normal or anticipated range.

i am in the same situation -sorry i cant help you --hey if you get some information can you post it up please!!! --thanks. i haven't gotten my period since December 27-all test negative -also went to the doctor to take those pills so i can get my period but nothing yet. so good luck with everything your friend anaeg.
