Mine has a switch which enables it to turn either way. Right now it's clockwise, which is blowing air down towards the floor as opposed to drawing the air up towards the ceiling. I'm in Los Angeles, CA.

I don't have a ceiling fan, the temperature drops below -20 (degrees c) where I am. if i did it would either turn clockwise or anti-clockwise.

clockwise, Florida. You are supposed to switch it to counter clockwise in the winter to help hold the heat down. But I don't because my climate is warm all year.

USA...in the summer it runs clockwise
in the winter it runs counter clockwise...honest!

im in the uk it goes clockwise for cooling and anti clockwise for circulating the air i must have a different one to you,ive never even thought about which way they turn intill now

I have 4 ceiling fans, but I couldn't tell you which way they turn because I haven't had them on since last summer. I live in PA.

I'm afraid I don't have a ceiling fan, I have a floor - standing one, due to the fact that I live in a bungalow, which has very low ceilings. I live in England. !! xx
