I have been given 3 files. ( i think its their extensions that matter not really their names )
Their names are : AbacusFlight.bpr , axis2.war , abacusstudio.jar . I am supposed to launch some kind of web application with these files.

I have tried deploying the WAR file through geronimo but it doesn't work.

Please advice!

WAR stands for Web Application Archive. I would try an application server named jboss to deploy the WAR. Not sure why the jar is there, it's a java library and typically, if it's required by the web archive, it would be packaged inside of it. Sometimes these jars need to be in the application server's classpath. Most of the time you can copy the .war to a directory and restart the server and it will appear at http://server/axis2.

Not sure .bpr, but .war and .jar are both Java thing.

Is Geronimo another servlet JSP container webserver? Try deploying thru Tomcat, and are you deploying correct way?

Rename both .war .jar to .zip because that's what they are, just Zips with a generated manifest file tackled in them.

tap the lid with both a tablespoon or the deal with of a butterknife...you may also attempt hitting the bottom. If that would not artwork then spoil the jar! hey, a gilr needs her salsa...

Have you tried opening them and having Microsoft search the web for a suitable program to open them?
