Is is mostly directed to fellow gays and lesbians, but our straight friends are welcome to answer too.
If you've ever gone for Gay Day, I'd love to hear about that too. And will you be going this year (the first Saturday of June)?

I've never been on Gay Day (would love to, though!), but I did go frequently as a kid.
My favorite memory was one year back in the late 80's, when the whole family went during the winter when it was "bad weather". It was raining and the park was practically deserted, it seemed, and me, who loves beautiful gloomy, wet, windy weather, just adored being in the park with it all empty and gray out, in my little rain slicker. I was pretty young, but I just remember having a great time, getting into the warm rides . . .
I know it's cliche, but it still is the Happiest Place on Earth, to me. Disney just has (had?) a way of magic about it.

My favorite memory?
Going to Epcot after a 2 hour drive down I-75 with friends, and visiting all the little countries, speaking Italian with the incredibly hot Italian cashiers (the first was a girl who was incredibly sweet and awesome, the second, a guy who was also really great), and just riding the 3 amazing rides: Mission: Space, Soarin', and Test Track.
Then one of my friends decided to buy a turkey leg in America. It was the best turkey I've ever had, bar none. Thanksgiving turkeys don't hold a CANDLE to Epcot's turkey legs, man. Yeah!
God, was that fun.

I went there with my family when I was younger, but I've blocked out a lot of my childhood unfortunately/fortunately. I'm too young to have done the whole "Gay Day" thing there yet, but it might be something to look into later on in life.

My favorite memory is as an adult-- my niece was having a crapalicious day, and I took her there instead of school- and we had the greatest time in the world. She is 16 now, and we still talk about it.

We don't have Disney-themed amusement parks in Australia, so I can't answer your question.
What was your most favourite memory of petting a wombat?
