Me, I buy mine from Mervyn's. Never from cheap stores suchs as Wal-Mart, K-Mart, and Target.
Why? Quality! It means a lot to me. I don't wanna look cheap and poor. I wanna look cool and rich.

Jeans: Levi's
Shoes: Converse
Underwear: Hanes

Well Mervyns is Considered Cheap and not high End
Abercombie and Fitch or Aerpostle are considered more of better

I buy almost exclusively at k mart and wal mart. i neither look cheap nor poor. and if YOU think i don't look cool and rich i couldn't care less!!! why should i care one little bit what you or anyone else thinks of how i dress or how i look!!!
personally i also wair hanes underware. so i guess my behind is cool and rich just like yours!!!
by the way, when they start taking nominations for the clothes police i will be the first to nominate you!!! you know, someone cool and rich and dumb as he!!.

JC Penny's...got a charge card there! They have great quality, name brands such as MUDD, Arizona & lei Jeans (great fit), nike, to name a few. I am poor! I just bought 3 HUGE bags of clothes there for only $20.08! I used my birthday coupon & hit the sale racks! I get all my nieces hand me downs too! They only shop at the expensive stores! I get their Aropostle, Ambo/fitch, Macy's, etc for FREE!
I've gotten LOTS of compliments on my out fits too! Get my hair done at the cosmotology school...only pay $32 for low lights/high lights! I've got LONG hair too! What a bargain! I look like I spend thousands on my clothes & hair but I dont!
My bathing suits are the ONLY lavish shopping I do...Victoria Secret & Playboy!
Jeans: all the above mentioned..lei is my favorite!
Shoes: JCPenny MUDD, Hush Puppies, Nike, Sketchers
Underwear: Rue21...SEXY only! Night time nothing or short shorts

i'm not sure what mervyn's is..
you're right quality is important..
i usually buy my clothes from stores at the mall or from bealls or something.
i agree with you on shirts sweaters on anything that looks good.
jeans are anything that looks good as well, but i really like silver jeans.
shoes.. i like flats and clogs and flip flops.. steve madden is my favorite..
underwear i get that anywhere from the mall like victoria secret.. but bras i can only get from specialty stores b/c they don't have my size.

Im always buy clothes with a good quality..when i go to shopping the first store that i would go is MNG,ESPRIT,etc
By using the branded clothes,it will make me confident to make the next steps~
