There is no easy way to handle this situation, but your family in theory should side with you and your kids as you're the ones coming out on the losing end of this deal. It's going to be awkward but hopefully with time that's going to get better.
Short of that, you could always change your name and move away.

that is so mean i would confrot my cousin and tell her that you have kids with this man and you are uncomfortable seeing them together esspecially when the kids are there at those events or do not go to the events what a ho

Be polite for the kid's sake or dont go to the family things.Also make sure he pays the child support.

I would fined the biggest guy you can fined and take him with you and have the kids call him daddy while the ex is standing there.

nothing,be as civil as you can. if your kids are with them go straight to your kids,never ever make any move to start a fight for your kids sake!

I hope you are divorced. He and your cousin should be ashamed of themselves and not even bring themselves to functions like that. You r family should be making feel like dirt and not welcome! That is low down.
