Diversity?

I live in Maine ... incase you didn't know thats the least diverse state in the Union... there are literally no african american people in my grade, and maybe about 3. idk
what are some problems you encounter living in high diversity area's

contrary to what the media and hollywood will tell you, diversity is not the wonderful la la land it's made out to be.

this may sound racist to some, but it's true. when blacks move into an area in large quantities, the property value drops and the crime rate rises.

young black gangs start hanging out at shopping malls which drives away customers and businesses close down.

plus, people start locking their doors at night and always have to look over their shoulder.

i'm not saying ALL blacks are like this. there's alot who aren't. but unfortunately for them, the hip hop gangbanger crowd makes the good blacks look bad.

When you get an opportunity take a trip to Portland, Maine and you will see diversity and all it's attendant consequences.

i wish every were i went was diverse too, i thought i was the only one that thought my school needed to be more diverse as well.

idk if this is necessarily a bad thing but in my school ppl of different races don't usually hang out with other races, just stick to themselves. Also, lets say you just came to the u.s., don't know english, you are less likely to learn english faster if you live in a place full of ppl that speak your language.
