No, that is not weird if they still like the same things. They are both adults and in sort of the same situation. It might start getting weird when the older one starts working for a living (if not already) and the 19 year old is still in school. If that happens.

Nope. My mother used to teach singing lessons. I met my best friend (other than my girlfriend LOL!) thru her. He is 11 years younger than me and we met when he was 18. Three years may seem like a lot to you now, but when you're my age it really loses its meaning!
