Why not save some money by getting regular clear ones since your eyes are blue anyway?

Some people get contacts that are the same color of their eyes because they want a more vivid color. If someone has a "boring" shade of blue, they might consider getting blue contacts to bring out a stronger, brighter color.

Only if the blue color of the contact is strong enough and different from your real eye color

no.. not really. i tried on a bunch of different blues and greens thinking it would make my eyes stand out more but it wasn't noticeable to anyone but myself.. it was the slightest difference.. i figured it wasn't worth it and i'd just be happy with the color i already have. but next time you go to the eye doctor you can request trying on all and any colors you want to see for yourself. good luck.

I don't think so. But since I don't wear contacts ( no offense)
I don't really think it will change your eye's color. I just think that it might get a little darker but people won't notice it.
