how do u run a disc in a computer mannually?

well i put in a disc that my teacher gave me but it doesnt run it. what should i do?

I am assuming it is a program and the auto run feature is not working. Go into "my computer" with the cd in the drive. Open the cd drive from My computer and look for an "exe" file, or a setup file and double click. This should start the program or the install. If it is just a data cd, you can view each file from here also. Good luck.

Go to My Computer, double-click your CD drive (make sure the disc is already inserted), and if you don't find a autorun.ini file (if you do, double-click it), then look for any file that's .ini.
