yesterday, i fell on my wrist and its swollen up a bit, and has a massive bruise. i can move my fingers and my wrist to a certain point back and forward. but it hurts. i cant pick up anything with it but i can write.. except it hurts. lol. um yeah, could it be broken still? or is it just a sprain? its more on my lower wrist that hurts than the part right up near the hand... any help?

It kind of stinks because of the cost and irritation of it all but the only way to know for sure is to have an x-ray. With something like this it's best to just have the x-rays done and be sure. Good luck.

If it is not displaced, or sticking out through the skin the only way to tell if it is broken is to see a doctor and have an x-ray.

An x-ray should do the trick. Likely it's sprained, sounds like mine when I did the same but an x-ray will tell for sure.

should have any xray only way to be sure there is also a small bone at the wrist called the navicular that may be injured[broken]

Only your doctor can tell from a xray.
