I got divorced 4 years ago, and I can't seem to find a good man. I have went on several dates, but they only lasted that one night. I don't have premaritial sex because of my religion. Do yall think this may be the problem or am I holding on to the past hurt of my failed marriage? Also, now my ex-husband is trying to get back with me, tleeing me he loves me and he wants me back. He has a girlfriend and he comes to see me with her truck. I've already told him to stop it. I'm so confused!!!

You need to date men that have the same beliefs you do. That's the only way it will work.

Forget him.If it didn't work before then chances are it won't this time either. Yes you could be having trouble holding onto the memories of a failed marriage.You also maybe comparing your dates to your ex husband. When you were married there was a comfort zone between the two of you and this feeling isn't there when you go out with someone new. I went through the same thing and I finally realized that each person will give a different feeling.I went on many dates that just didn't feel right. I still haven't found that comfort zone with anyone.Some will be better than others but it will be up to you to decide what works best.Don't settle for anything that doesn't feel right cause the person won't grow on you after awhile.I tried this and it didn't work.

There are many dating sites out there and even here on Yahoo they have a site for personals. Get to work. let um know you are out there and available. As far as sex goes, well you already been there and done that. Most men know you are divorced and know this too. They will take it you are not interested in them if you don't play. Sorry about that hang up with your religion but that is the facts today! You don't have to drop in the sack the first date but as it move's along you may have to make that decision. As far your x goes, coming to see you in his girlfriends truck? Well imagine that will you? Get busy there is allot of life out there to live!

I know exactly what your going through! I have been divorced from my ex since Oct.06. Men are dogs. Trust me! My ex comes around only when he wants sex & he is still w/the same girl he left me for. Don't give into him until he proves to you he is 100% committed to making it work. That includes getting rid of the girlfriend! Dating is not easy. I don't know why you divorced but it is very hard to trust men. Be careful & don't jump into anything. Let love find you don't go looking for it. Pray alot!!! God will bring you someone in time. He knows who that special someone is! He'll be as special as I'm sure you are. Good Luck!

You will know when the time comes. Took me about 4 years. I sometimes think I am too choosie, but tired of being alone. Hang in there things will work out. Your story sounds like mine. Hope this helps.

first keep meaning it when you tell your ex to stay away he's just trying to hurt you more by driving his girlfriends truck . the best place to meet nice men could be church you should go by the way you believe no premarital sex if your a christain
