I had my tubes tied on January 4, 2007 and now I noticed that I have a lump above my belly button that is very noticable through my clothes. It is nothing to do with the incision that they made under the belly button. When I push on it, I hear a crackling noise but it doesn't hurt. What should I do in this situation. My cousin who had the same tubal procedure like I did last week does not have a lump on her stomach. I called the doctors office and am waiting for them to call me back for an appt. What should one do? Thanks

I wonder if it could be a hernia? Honestly, I would pay a visit to your doctor. Only he will know what is wrong.

I'd go to a different doctor right away......maybe even an emergency room. What if the surgeon left something inside of you?

Call Snap, Crackle, and Pop, and see if they need a new sidekick. Good luck with that.

Definately ask the doctors asap. It could be anything.
