Use a mixture of vinegar and water. The vinegar neutralizes the odor.

I don't what these people's obsession with Vinegar is but you're going to have to buy an actual cleaner.

I have two dogs and a cat and have had my fair share of accidents on rugs etc. I have lots of experience with this.

You could use regular Resolve but that doesn't always do that job.

There is a product called Urine Gone. It's like a light green colour I suppose and it completely disinfects the area and removes the smell of it as well. Also it's a great way to train your animals because it says that they'll never use that area again due to the ingredients of w/e in the product. (of course it's safe don't worry)

You can find this at any major retailer I'm sure. Try Target or Sams.. Maybe Costco..

Good luck..

There is a product literally called: Urine gone and it is used for this purpose. You could wash your carpet really good with a good detergent, use urine gone AND use this arm and hamer carpet powder that helps remove pet smells from the carpet. Good Luck!

If the vinegar/water solution does not work, you could take a lemon, cut it in half and rub on the spot. Since urine is acid based, you have to clean it with an acid based solution

I found the best stain remover and deodorizer to be Sol-U-Mel. It's all natural and great to have on hand. Check out the link below for more information.
