it's a LG VX9800, or called "LG the V", and i have a few MP3's on the memory card and i was told that you can use those as ringtones.

not quite so sure on this model but on the vx8100 open the main menu and press 0 a few times this will open up the hidden files (interface) on the phone. you have to browse around and click enable mp3s from the card
just put the music files on the card in the my mp3's spot
